ACS has created a special section featuring Asian language materials, as well as links to other cancer related resources.
Asian American Network for Cancer Awareness, Research and Training
A national cancer network intended to address Asian American concerns.
Asian Pacific Islanders Women's Health
Los Angeles District FDA Site with materials on cancer screening in a variety of languages.
Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations
A centralized location to find current information about Asian Pacific Islander (API ) health status and issues affecting API health.
Cancer Control Planet
National Cancer Institute web site designed to provide access to successful evidence-based intervention programs and products that were developed and evaluated by researchers in the field. You can download or order all the components that were used in the intervention. The Chinese Women's Health Project, a joint project between Harborview Med Center/University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, has been selected as one of the interventions.
Center for International Rehabilitation Research Information and Exchange (CIRRIE)
CIRRIE has developed an eleven-volume monograph series which provides specific information on cultural perspectives of foreign-born persons in the US, especially recent immigrants. The monographs contain specific information about culture that rehabilitation service providers can use to more effectively meet the needs of foreign-born recipients of rehabilitation services.
Lowell Community Health Center
Lowell Community Health Center has made available online downloadable versions of public service radio segments on a number of health topics, along with written handouts reflecting the content of these programs, in Khmer language. No English language versions of the materials are currently available, though information is provided identifying the English sources used to develop the Khmer content. Specific links include:

Khmer Health Advocates
KHA provides health assessments and mental health services in the form of individual, family, group and massage therapies for survivors of torture and concentration camp syndromes for Khmer speaking peoples from Connecticut and Western, Mass.
Vietnamese Community Health Promotion Project
The mission of the Vietnamese Community Health Promotion Project (based in San Francisco, CA) is to improve the health of Vietnamese living in the United States. There are a number of Vietnamese language patient education materials available through their web site.
